Eight (8) Sessions, beginning week of Sept. 3rd!

Our skating programs encourage the development of the beginning skater through the elite athlete in a warm, friendly and fun environment.

Learn to Skate
(ages 4 - adult*)
Designed to teach beginners of all ages the basic techniques of skating. Whether it be figure, hockey or recreational skating, students will be well prepared to progress into their skating futures. Each session consists of a 25 minute instructional class and 25 minute practice time.
Tots on Ice
(Boys and Girls ages 2 - 6*)

An introduction to the wonderful world of ice skating for pre school/kindergartners. Children learn the basic skills of skating while developing balance and coordination with an emphasis on group participation and fun. Each session consists of a 25 minute instructional class and 25 minutes of supervised on-ice playtime.

Adult Learn to Skate
Designed to teach adult beginners the basic techniques of skating.Each session consits of 25 minute instructional class and 25 minutes of practice.

*ALL Children must wear a suitable helmet (at least a bike helmet) during lessons. No make-ups. All classes less 10 minutes for ice resurfacing.

THE RINKS AT SHELTON ANNUAL BASIC SKILLS COMPETITION

A US figure Skating sanctioned event.
A fun, introductory, competitive experience for the beginning skater.
Saturday, October 25, 2008 -  9:45am-1:45pm 
For all Snowplow Sam, Basic Skills through Freestyle 6.

ENTRY FEES: 
$35.00 for first event and $15.00 for each additional event.
 DEADLINE: 
All entries must be postmarked by October 11, 2008
